These photos were taken in the autumn of 2020 at Smith Rock outside of Bend, Oregon. This spot is known worldwide by mountain climbers as some of the best climbing you can find, and it’s a hiking, camping and picnic destination as well. It has something for everyone, especially for happy photographers! I could truly not get enough of the magical light around every corner, coming through the trees, reflecting off the rocks and canyons, and dancing down the river.

But even more magical was this genuine and joyful couple! Style-wise, the bride's gorgeous, textured hair style had just the right level of control with a few carefree pieces allowed to blow in the wind, and her long-sleeved, modern lace dress tied it all together perfectly, and the groom's emerald tux is everything. They are the picture of style and elegance but with an incredible sense of humor and fun, never missing an opportunity to make each other laugh!

This is quite literally my dream wedding. This editorial shoot fully embraced a boho theme and made it shine, and I hope you can be inspired by the beautiful way all of the lovely elements came together. From the emerald colors seen in the decor and the groom's fantastic tux, to the Moroccan elements dotted throughout, and just the simple wildness of the location, I'm in love with the whole scene. Everything had an organic texture to it (the letterpress, the woven cushions, the unfinished wood table, even the clay-colored cake) adding just enough elegance but letting the natural background keep center stage.
