How can I book your services for our wedding??

Once we’ve realized how perfect we are for each other, I will send over a contract for you to sign along with an invoice including your 30% deposit to secure the date. And then we can begin our adventure! If your package includes an Engagement Session, that will be the first thing we schedule.

Leading up to the wedding date, I’ll make sure to gather all kinds of fun information from you to make sure I understand all of your wedding desires, know your dream shots, and all the nitty gritty timing details. I’m a HUGE fan of excel sheets and am happy to help you sketch out your timeline! (Not that I’m a wedding planner, but I love to plan!) In short, I’ll be available to you all the way, so you won’t have to lift a finger when it comes to me.

How do I book my family or pet session?

It’s so easy! Just email me, and we can talk dates and availability, or click here to select an available time slot! Once we’ve set the date and time, I will email you a contract and invoice for your non-refundable retainer of 30% of the package fee, which will hold your spot. The remaining balance can be paid any time between then and the session date, and I’m happy to create payment plans to break up the payments as needed.

I do offer mini sessions, but only on specific dates of the year. These sessions are pre-planned at a specific location (my choice, muahaha) and usually just once or twice a year. These are super fun for your annual photos or for holiday cards and tend to have a theme! But these are not nearly as customizable as a standard session.

If budget is your main concern, I can create payment plans for a standard session, or you can sign up for my newsletter to be the first to know about my mini session dates!

My dog is shy/aggressive/hyper. Do you think you can still get nice photos?

YES I do! I pride myself on my ability to make friends with dogs, and read them very well. These are dogs that will definitely require at least an hour session, so we can take our time getting to know each other, or give your dog a chance to get out some energy. For the crazy variety, bringing water and a towel is essential so their tongues don’t outgrow their heads!

If you feel you have a more serious concern, I’m also happy to schedule a pre-session meet & greet for some preliminary relationship-building with your pet.

What should we wear to our family session??

Once your session is booked I will send you a session & style guide which has tons of useful tips!

Your photos are delivered in a beautiful online gallery, which is perfect for sharing with family and friends across any distance. This online gallery is where you can purchase prints and products, and download high res or web-ready images.

When can I expect to see my photos?

I give each photo session lots of TLC, including editing, retouching and sharpening, as well as customizing each gallery page, which does take a little time. Family sessions are available to view 2 to 4 weeks after your session date. Weddings typically take 8 to 12 weeks.

However, I make every effort to provide sneak peaks, for weddings in particular, in the first couple of weeks, often in the form of a curated blog and/or facebook post you can share with family and friends.

Please take these time-frames into account when considering holiday cards, gifts or other personal deadlines.

Can I skip the retouching and just have the RAW photos?

I do not offer RAW or un-touched photos. Retouching is as much a part of my craft as the camera itself. All of my work you’ve previously seen has been the product of the TLC I give each photo, and is likely the reason you’ve enjoyed my work thus far. Think of it like asking a book author for their first draft, or a restaurant chef for the un-mixed ingredients.

How do I receive printed photos or other products?

Your online gallery is also a shop, with access to my favorite professional labs, so you or anyone you share the gallery with can conveniently order prints, gorgeous wall art, and fun gifts, which ship directly to you!

If your package included the full set of high res digital images, you are also free to order prints through any lab or store you like with those files. A personal print release can be provided if your lab or store requires it.

No, I do not own a photo printer, and am completely happy with my chosen print labs, which cater exclusively to professionals.

Can I opt to pick up my prints from you instead of paying for shipping?

Unfortunately no, as I do not print the photos myself, they need to ship regardless.

Do you offer in-person ordering sessions?

As I do not own a physical studio, I don’t currently offer in-person ordering sessions. However I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the products I offer from my preferred print labs.

Can you photoshop out my…. [fill in the blank]…?

Oh how often people mention this jokingly/not jokingly. Sigh! While I’m very proud of my Photoshop skillz, you shouldn’t assume going into a session that I will retouch anything without asking me first. Any Photoshop magic should be considered a bonus. For specifics, inquire below!
