A Joyful Santa Barbara Historical Museum Wedding

These two are just the cutest, and it was simply a joy to capture their special day. The way they make each other smile, the way their friends gather around them, the stories told during their toasts, all show how plain lovable they are. And for such easy going people, their wedding day was fabulous! All the details from start to finish fit the couple, and fit together, perfectly. If you need any ideas for wonderful people to hire for your all of your wedding needs, take a look at the credits list at the bottom of this post. A stellar crew! And the Santa Barbara Historical Museum is the most elegant backdrop for all of it. A beautiful combination of historic, rustic and elegant style.

Some of my favorite moments from this joyful day:

First: The bride giving the groom a piggy-back ride like they did in their engagement session.

Two: The “Flower Man.” Need I say more.

Three: The bridesmaid toast that included rapping an original song to the tune of the Fresh Prince theme.

Four: All of the bougainvillea everywhere and the other flowers to complement it.

Five: The way the green truck matched the bridesmaid dresses and the couch at the reception.

Five: The bride’s reception dress - so cute!

Lastly: The send-off in the green Chevy truck.

I could go on, I mean literally everything was amazing, and I was the lucky one to get to wear a camera and document it. I appreciate clients like these so much and can’t wait to be part of more of life’s special moments with them!
