Mountain to Ocean Engagement Session in Santa Barbara

I love an adventurous couple! These two chose two very different spots for their engagement photos. We started atop the mountains of Santa Barbara, on East Camino Cielo for a (somewhat hazy, but still amazing) view of the city, amidst bugs, flying foxtails, and a short hike with a bike.

Then we traveled down to the beach, which was a tad more wild than expected… the tide was especially high when we arrived, so it was more of a rocky shore. But these two were game, and still got their feet wet (much to my delight!) And we happily got there in time for a glorious sunset.

I can’t wait to photograph these two again at their wedding later this year!
